How Fascists engage in a "race" with law enforcement and the courts system

One of the tactics that fascists use when they are trying to take over the government of a country is they engage in a "race" against that country's legal system. While the court system is a slow and cumbersome process where all claims must be vetted, the propagandist knows that if he can control the propaganda cycle, and accelerate the pace at which agitative propaganda is delivered to his audience, then eventually he may be able to "out-run" the legal system. The process of out-running the court system may be aided both by fascist sympathizers in law enforcement and the courts system, and by fascists managing to get themselves elected to government positions, where they may use the authority of their position as Federal officers or lawmakers to put pressure on the legal system to ignore their crimes. This pattern was observed in 1930s Germany, when the Nazis won seats in the German Reichstag while also cultivating supporters in German police units. The same pattern is visible today with Republican efforts such as the creation of their "Committee on Weaponization of Federal Agencies", which falsely promises to "root out" corruption in Federal law enforcement. The GOP will demonstrate over the course of the next two years how their ultimate goal is to harass, threaten and remove those who follow the rule of law impartially, while ignoring obvious corruption by GOP loyalists.

The fault of GOP efforts is that none of their actions serve any legitimate legislative purpose. Their ultimate goal is to weaken the Federal Government per the wishes of Russia, the GOPs main sponsor in modern day elections, and to create partisan propaganda, "sound-bites" to be used against Democratic candidates. This means that Democrats and Biden Administration officials are free to ignore subpeonas just as aggressively as Republicans did while Trump was in office. There is no obligation to try to set an example of decency when doing so just provides feed for the GOP propaganda mill. People who ignored Congressional subpeonas themselves, have no right to expect others to honor subpeonas produced by committees they sit on. The Executive Branch is under no obligation to release any information to committees whose members are potential subjects or targets of an on-going Federal Investigation, especially in cases where it appears a lawmaker is attempting to abuse the authority of his position to find out "what the government has on him." There is no benefit to "setting an example" when doing so makes a crook's life that much easier.
